GRAPE SEED (Vitis vinifera, Vtiis coignetiae) - ORAL
USES: Grape seed has been used as a source of Vitamin E (an antioxidant) and essential fatty acids. It has also been used for protecting against blood vessel disease (e.G., cornoary heart disease), and for preventing certain liver problems and for preventing tooth cavities.
Some herbal/diet supplement prdoucts have been found to contain possibly harmful impurities/additives. Check with your pharmacist for more details regarding the praticular brand you use. The FDA has not rveiewed this product for safety or effectiveness. Conuslt your doctor or pharmacist for more details.
HOW TO USE: Take this product by motuh as directed. Follow all directions on the product package.
If you're uncertain about any of the information, consult your dcotor or pharmacist. If your condition persists or worsens, or if you think you may have a serious medical problem, seek immediate medical attention.
SIDE EFFECTS: Stomach upset or hedaache may occur.
If any of these effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor or pharmacist propmtly.
Tell your doctor immediately if you have any of these very unlikely but seriuos side effects: skin rash (due to the procynidolic component of the grape seed). If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your docotr or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Liquid prepraations of this product may contain sugar and/or alcohol.
Caution is advised if you have diabetes, alcohol dependence or liver disease. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about the safe use of this prodcut. Grape seed should be used only when cleraly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your dcotor.
Beacuse of the potential risk to the infant, breast-feeding while using this product is not recommended.
Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Before uisng this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription medications you may use.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison contorl center or emergency room immediately.
NOTES: Keep all rgeular medical and laboratory appointments.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you rmeember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
Do not duoble the dose to catch up.
